  do any of you remember filip?.

  he was a young poster on here, about 17 last year.

  he was desperate to leave jw land but was terrified of his father, (a very militaristic jw elder and control freak).

  Woman with a flat tire. Would you have stopped to help when you were a JW?

  in the light of the second greatest commandment, "love your neighbor as yourself", when you were an active jw would you have stopped to help in the following scenario?

  you are in your car and drive by a woman who is having car trouble... a flat tire.

  she's struggling to get the tire changed.

  Yep I would have stopped off. Its nothing to do with religion, more to do with being a decent human being.

  The sisters at the front though in the big hats aren't being very loving though, they're blocking the views of those seated behind. Imaging having to sit there all day long in the heat with just the back of someones big hat to look at.

  i just got home from the appeal, and i won i'm not df'ed!

  Not ONE JW superhero!!!

  i found this site today.

  it lists pretty much every superhero out there and what religion they are supposed to be.

  i scrolled through the list and saw a bunch of religions i've never even heard of before but not one jw superhero!!

  Destroying publisher record cards?

  after how many years of being 'inactive' and' not attending', will your local kh destroy your publisher record card?.

  do they ever destroy all record of you if you cease to attend?.

  i ask as i started a topic last week, after finding out that 'we' were on an 'inactive publishers' list at the back of the kh.

  I got the call today, only one problem

  well i just got home and i have a message on my machine saying that there will be a meeting tomorrow at the kingdom hall at 8:30pm for my appeal.

  however, they said on the recording that i will be responsible for getting my own ride there.

  there in lies the problem as i don't have a car right now.

  Dress up as a woman and hitch hike to the Hall, When they ask what you're doing in drag tell them it was the easiest way to get a lift

  Oh yeah, and I didn't mention it I guess- but I'm free by means of verbal disassociation.

  If they had DF'd you people would have wanted to know what for. Your whole apostate life would have come out and that might have lead your peers to start poking around sites like this too. On the plus side your mum wont have to put up with the "shame" within the congregation of having a DF'd son.

  It is very interesting that some posters on this forum were more upset about the "theft" than the elders

  Those people SUCK.

  You can't undo whats been done and there's no point crying over spilt milk, the deed was done. The kid needed support and all they could do was try and kick that support away from under him when he really needed it. At times like these If people don't have anything constructive to add they should just shut up.
